The Ontario Massed Legion Pipes and Drums is also commonly known as the Canadian Massed Pipes and Drums.  When on tour, and when band members have joined the band from other Canadian provinces and territories, we use the version of our name that is more inclusive and representative.  The core band is based in Orillia, Ontario and is composed of members who play with other pipe bands, together with members who consider this band to be their home and only band.  The band's latest Scotland tour took place this past August, 2009, the Year of the Homecoming and the Gathering of the Clans.  Plans are underway for our next great adventure in 2011.

Our OMLPB.ca website is largely a communication tool for members, but also you will find notes on our history, our culture and our music. As a band, we enjoy fellowship, event parades and international touring.  We always welcome pipers and drummers interested in any aspect of our band.
